Wonderful hotel in a fabulous location. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Quality of food was excellent.Hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Diarmuid was very helpful in advising about which areas to explore and even provided a local walking guide

Everything was excellent My only regret was, that I did not look for a room to the front of the house so that I would have had a sea view.

Woke up to the sun rising over the water and Inishnee island . Lovely friendly staff and a homely atmosphere. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice. 5 star breakfast

Spotlessly clean. Lovely staff who went the extra mile when one of our party was ill one day. Nice and quiet at night. Nice food in the restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Spotless room. Fresh towels daily. A freshly cooked breakfast I will be back for in the future. Large fresh fish portions with evening meal in separate residents’ lounge. Above all friendly helpful staff in a family run hotel I cannot fault in anyway and it will be a future destination for visiting the area. Cannot praise enough.

Customer service was excellent, hotel was spotlessly clean, most of all the quality of food was exceptional.The location was fantastic.

Room got a little too warm when weather was very warm, but was manageable

Location, friendly staff, great breakfasts and bar food, lovely sea-view. Overall a great stay and we’ll be back!

The downside of getting a sea-view is the street noise which can go on quite late! Seating in the bar is not very comfortable which is the only thing letting it down. Neither would stop us revisiting the hotel!

Everything about our stay was great, thank you. We enjoyed the small, family hotel vibe and friendliness. The food in the dining room for dinner and breakfast were both top class. The bedroom was comfortable and we loved the view.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The only suggestion we would make is that a small (quiet!) fridge in the bedroom would have been handy for keeping cold water in, given the high temperatures.

The best part of our stay was that everyone at the hotel (in particular the Vaughan's themselves who worked the front desk, the bar, and the restaurant) were extremely friendly and helpful. It was as if they were hosting us at their home. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our Seaview Deluxe Room overlooked the town and the bay, which is just what we wanted. The pub was cozy and the restaurant (where we had dinner and breakfast) was outstanding. We don't usually eat dinner in hotel restaurants but we are glad we did. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our two-week Ireland trip this one was the best.
